Privacy Policy & HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices

Lifetime Lift® is a marketing and management company and not a medical provider. Lifetime Lift does not offer medical advice; all medical decision making is made by your Lifetime Lift licensed physician. For any questions or medical information ask your Lifetime Lift physician. As with any medical procedure review the patient information and consent forms provided by your Lifetime Lift physician. Patients depicted are compensated and have given their permission to appear. Photos are from various doctors and are for illustrative purposes only and do not constitute a promise or representation of any particular outcome or experience. Recovery time and results will vary by patient please consult your Lifetime Lift physician.

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how Lifetime Lift (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you visit www.lifetimelift.com (the “Site”) or engage with any of our in-clinic or virtual services (collectively, the “Services”).

1. Scope of This Policy

  • Website & Marketing Data (Non-PHI). Covers information such as name, email, device data, and cookies collected through the Site for marketing, analytics, or customer-service purposes.

  • Protected Health Information (“PHI”). Covers medical history, photographs, consultation details, payment information, or any data governed by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). PHI is additionally protected by our Notice of Privacy Practices (NOPP) in Section 11.

  • Affiliated Surgeons (only as needed to fulfill your request)

  • Regulators / Law Enforcement: When required by law, subpoena, or to protect patient safety

  • With Your Written Authorization: For any other purpose not listed above

5. Use of Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, and similar tools to understand how visitors use the Site and to tailor ads. You can disable cookies in your browser; doing so may affect Site functionality.

6. Marketing Communications

  • Opt-In: Promotional emails or SMS are sent only if you check the marketing consent box.

  • Opt-Out: Click “unsubscribe” in any email or reply “STOP” to any SMS, or email us at Jeanne@lifetime.com.

7. Data Retention & Destruction

  • PHI: Retained for at least 7 years or the period required by Michigan law, then securely destroyed.

  • Non-PHI: Retained only as long as necessary for the purposes described above.

8. Security Measures

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect data, including:

  • SSL/TLS encryption on all web forms

  • Encrypted storage for PHI (EHR, image repositories)

  • Role-based access controls and staff HIPAA training

  • Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments

9. Your Privacy Rights

  • HIPAA Rights: Access, amend, restrict, or receive an accounting of disclosures of your PHI.

  • State-Specific Rights: If you reside in California, you may have additional rights such as data-access and deletion.

Content on this Site is for informational purposes only and does not create a physician-patient relationship. Medical decisions should be made only after an in-person or telehealth consultation with our licensed professionals.

12. Photography & Testimonial Consent

Before-and-after images or patient testimonials are published only with written, revocable consent. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us (see Section 13).

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new Effective Date. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
